Laudness is a new solo project by the danish musician and electronic producer Laurits Smedegaard.
On may 7th he is releasing his first single ‘Boat To Utklippan' from his upcoming debut album ‘Therapy’ on Kenneth Bager’s imprint Music For Dreams.

Laudness is a collage of music that combines ambient, new-age, jazz and easy listening in an experimental and playful sound design. The project aims to tell captivating stories with cinematic soundscapes and alluring melodies instead of words.
A mix between organic instruments, innovative samples and synthesizers results in a calm yet unpredictable sound that awakens the listeners curiosity and inspires a journey in the imagination.

Laudness draws his inspiration from artists like Oneothrix Point Never, Aphex Twin, Hiroshi Yoshimura & Jakob Bro.

Laurits Smedegaard also occurs as one half of the electronic duo Kr4n.
